...while Tiffany will take some AMAZING HIKES with $2,000.

Trip on the Wheel: Lake Tahoe, California, $5,500

Jackpot Round: What are you doing?

Tiffany
$600 - 1 R.
Lake Tahoe! - 1 S!
2 E's!
Jackpot! - No T. Aw.

Kristin
$400 - 3 N's!
1 A.
$500 (slipped past the Jackpot) - No L.

Now, imagine that mistake on the Jackpot; it would've been worse.

Greg
$400 - 1 M.
$350 - 1 K.
2 I's! No vowels left.
$400 - 1 W.
1/2-Car! - 1 D!

Vanna explains how the 1/2-Car works. If you pick up TWO 1/2-Car plates, you'll win a $10,000 car! But Banrkupt can take all of your plates away! And if you win a car, the 1/2-Car is GONE for the rest of the night.

Greg's MAKING NEW FRIENDS for $1,700 and his 1/2-Car plate.

Jackpot Left Behind: $8,950

Greg: $1,700 + 1/2-Car
Tiffany: $2,000 Toss-Up money
Kristin: $1,000 T.U. bucks

This next round will be kinda strange...

Mystery Round: Things

$300 (nearly hit the Wild Card) - 3 S's!
1/2-Car - 2 T's!
No I.

Greg
$600 (nearly hit $3,500!) - 1 N.
Bankrupt (slipped past $600)! Goodbye to his 1/2-Car.

Now, imagine if he called N on $3,500...

Tiffany
$900 (slipped past Bankrupt and yet no reaction from the audience! Grr...) - 1 L.
No O.

Kristin
1 E.

_ L _ N E T S

Kristin looks at some STARS & PLANETS for $2,300 and her own 1/2-Car plate! And what's strange about this puzzle is that the "&" appeared as a "7"! Keyboard shifting (Shift+7=&)!

Greg: $1,700
Tiffany: $2,000
Kristin: $3,300 + 1/2-Car

Prize Puzzle: Event

Greg
$350 (slipped past a 1/2-Car) - 2 S's!

Wait, I think he's ready to solve right now!

_ _ _ _ - S _ _
_ _ S _ _ _ _

WOW! Greg NAILS DEEP-SEA FISHING for only $700, but he also wins a $6,000 ALASKAN CRUISE to do some fishing there! He's earned $6,700 that round! Very impressive, Greg! But sadly, Kristin's 1/2-Car plate has to go now.

Greg: $8,400 cash and Alaska
Tiffany: $2,000
Kristin: $3,300

Toss-Up 3: Person
_ O D _ _
C O W B _ _

Greg's no RODEO COWBOY, but he's jumped to over $11K with that solve!

This next round will be unbelievable.

Round 4: Title

And this puzzle is a three-liner, so the very top line is not used.

Greg
$900 - 1 N.

You're kidding me...he wants to make a one-letter solve...

_ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ N _

SUCCESS!!! He amazingly IDs MARTHA STEWART LIVING for $900, but that's brought up to the minimum of $1,000! Not only does Greg win the game, but we don't need a Final Spin!

Greg: $12,400
Tiffany: $2,000
Kristin: $3,300

Bonus Round: Book title

Not very often you see that category in the BR. Anyway, the impressive Greg lands on the I in AMERICA'S.

Way too easy of a BR puzzle with the RSTLNE setup...

_ L _ S S E S

...but maybe I was wrong...NONE of his picks of CDGA make the puzzle. He flubs with BLISSES, BLOSSES, and FLOSSES, but with 40 seconds left, he gets the right answer of ULYSSES! Give him the $55,000 Motorcycle he deserves! He leaves us with $67,400, cash, Alaska, and motorbike!

You were impressive, Greg! Keep that up in life!

1 comment:

  1. Wow, I've never seen a player so impressive like Greg.

Toss-Ups: Good job to everyone for getting a Toss-Up. Poor Greg blanking out on the second word on T.U. #2.

Round 1: Good way for Greg to redeem himself.

Round 2: A lot of close calls here...

Round 3: If Greg would've picked up the 1/2-Car and then made the quick solve of his, that would've been wasteful. But I no-lettered this, and so did Greg! WOW!

Round 4: Greg PULLS OFF A ONE-LETTER SOLVE? AMAZING!

Bonus Round: Way too easy, and I got it once Greg got it!

    Rating: 8/10
